January 16, 2010OVERKILL frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth will be interviewed live on Monday, January 18 on Greece's "Metalzone" radio show with Kostas Purevil Kyriakakis. You can listen to the program at 23.00 (GMT +2) on 94fm in Athens and online at www.metalzone.gr by clicking on the "Listen Hard" graphic.
OVERKILL filmed a video for the song "Bring Me The Night" last weekend in Brooklyn, New York with director Kevin Custer (HATEBREED, TESTAMENT, SUFFOCATION).
Commented vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth: "Kevin shot and directed the 'Skull & Bones' video. He is a true 'master of disaster' when presenting the visuals. His art is as explosive as the bands he works with and his personality complements both. There is no fear in his vision. It is a true metallic pleasure to work with someone who 'understands' and can deliver at such a high level."
"Bring Me The Night" comes off OVERKILL's new album, "Ironbound", which is scheduled for release on February 9 via E1 Music (formerly KOCH Records). The CD, which will be issued in Europe on January 29, 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was mixed by PAIN/HYPOCRISY mainman Peter TÃĪgtgren and is described in a press release as "a true thrasher-piece."
